Notes From a Cheap Pub

I was sitting in a pub recently, waiting to get my tyres changed. I wasn’t getting my tyres changed at the pub though. I know, we’re painfully uni-functional with our establishments here. I sat in the corner — my usual choice if I can help it — chugging down the dregs of my tea, peering at the natives. I’m a native here too, but I was peering harder.
